However, our practice no longer focuses on criminal law the way it once did…

We once did a lot of criminal work.  The reason is simple.  The firm’s founder and most senior lawyer – Byron L. Warnken, Esq. – is also a full time criminal law professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law.  He has taught criminal law at UB since 1978.  In fact, he has taught numerous criminal defense attorneys in Maryland, numerous State’s Attorneys, and even quite a few judges.  And as of 2013, he literally wrote the book on Maryland criminal procedure.

What Changed?

We began to narrow our focus on personal injury, workers’ compensation, and our law enforcement clients.
