- Claimant sprained ankle at work and was placed in a walking boot. Due to the boot immobilization he developed a pulmonary embolism in his lung, which required medication.

- Claimant injured her back lifting heavy objects. Diagnostic imaging was negative. Injured worker underwent a course of physical therapy.

- Claimant cut hand during the course of employment as a delivery driver. The injury required stitches, and driver was compensated for the scar on the palm.

- Public safety employee was injured as a result of stepping in a hole and twisting knee. Diagnosis included medial lateral and meniscal tears which required surgical repair.

- Public safety employee stuck his elbow against a metal door while making an arrest. Diagnosis was a chip fracture of the elbow.

- Claimant was injured when slipping and falling while unloading a truck. Diagnosis included sprains, which were treated with chiropractic care.

- Claimant struck his finger on a shelf bracket. Surgery was required.

- While loading tools into a truck, claimant’s knee struck a step and was hyperextended. An MRI revealed a tear of the medial meniscus. Treatment included physical therapy, injections, and an arthroscopic surgery.
