Byron L. Warnken, Esq. wins Heeney Award
The Maryland State Bar Association has selected Professor Byron L. Warnken as the 2012 recipient of the Robert C. Heeney Award. The Heeney Award is the MSBA “lifetime achievement award” in criminal law. It is selected annually by the 500-member MSBA Criminal Law & Practice Section, which consists of judges, prosecutors, and criminal defense attorneys. Professor Warnken is the 25th recipient since the inception of the award. The Heeney Award dinner will take place at Martin’s West, 6817 Dogwood Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21244, on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $50.
