Terms and Conditions
Warnken, LLC (hereinafter “Warnken” or “The Firm” or “Sponsor”) desires to have a sweepstakes promotion.
Sponsor = Warnken, LLC 2 Reservoir Circle, STE 200 Baltimore, MD 21208
Entrant/Participant (hereinafter “Entrant” or “Participant”) desires to participate in sweepstakes promotion for a chance to win prizes.
All Terms and Conditions described herein below are part of the “Sweepstakes Promotion” (hereinafter “Sweepstakes” or “Promotion” or “Warnken, LLC’s Million Dollar Newsletter Giveaway” or “Giveaway”) and shall form a contract between Warnken, LLC and any participant. Please read carefully.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP WITH WARNKEN, LLC WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. BY ENTERING, YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, TERMS, AND CONDITIONS, WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. WITHOUT LIMITATION, THIS CONTRACT INCLUDES INDEMNITIES FROM YOU AND A LIMITATION OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEMDIES.
CONTIGENT EVENTS AND PRIZE
If the Baltimore Ravens win the Pro Football Championship game in New Orleans in February 2025 and a member of the Baltimore Ravens wins the Associated Press Most Valuable Player award for the upcoming pro football season…
One (1) randomly drawn winner shall receive ONE MILLION DOLLARS ($1,000,000)!
The prize has a total approximate retail value of $1,000,000.
Ravens must win the Pro Football Championship (often referred to as the Super Bowl) for the 2024-25 season and a member of the Baltimore Ravens team must win the Most Valuable Player of the year award as given by the Associated Press. (Offensive or Defensive Player of the Year does not count – must be league MVP)
Time of Sweepstakes
The Sweepstakes shall begin on 12:01am (Eastern Standard Time; hereinafter “time in Baltimore, Maryland”) August 26, 2024 and shall conclude on February 3, 2025 at 11:59pm (time in Baltimore, Maryland).
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
Participant has no requirement to do anything except enter via method of entry or alternative method of entry. Specifically, Participant has no requirement to purchase anything or to listen to, or participate in, any sales pitch.
REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS
LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND A LEGAL RESIDENT OF MARYLAND TO PARTICIPATE AND TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN PRIZES. Entrant must turn 18 years of age on or before August 26, 2024. Winner(s) must be prepared to show official valid photo identification to prove age. Entrant must be a permanent resident of Maryland for one or more days during the contest period.
No employee of Warnken, LLC or family member of an employee of Warnken, LLC or family member of Byron B. Warnken, Esq. is eligible to win any prize in the Sweepstakes.
Winners agree that participation in the Sweepstakes and acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use his or her name, likeness, picture, voice, and/or statements made by the winner for advertising and promotional purposes without notice or additional compensation unless otherwise prohibited by law.

Warnken, LLC’s Million Dollar Newsletter Giveaway is in no way affiliated with nor endorsed by The Baltimore Ravens, LP, the National Football League, Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., Constant Contact, Google, or Youtube.
METHOD OF ENTRY
Join and subscribe to the Warnken, LLC email or print newsletter.
All subscribers who meet other requirements will be eligible to win.
Entrant must subscribe to either Warnken, LLC’s email or print newsletter not later than February 3, 2025 at 11:59pm (time in Baltimore, Maryland) and must be subscribed at the time of the selection of the contest winner, which may be up to two weeks after the announcement of the AP NFL MVP, to win prize.

Existing newsletter subscribers (pre-dating the time of this Sweepstakes Promotion) will be entered to win the drawing. However, Warnken, LLC is not responsible for confusion regarding entries. Just because you think you are on our newsletter does not necessarily mean you are for purposes of this Sweepstakes. The only way to ensure entry is to complete the form at www.warnkenlaw.com/newsletter.
ALTERNATE METHOD OF ENTRY
Anyone may participate in the Giveaway by entering via the Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”). In order to participate via the AMOE, simply send a postcard or letter to:

Mail-in alternative method of entry shall include name, phone number, email address, and address of residence.
All mail-in alternative method of entry entries received by February 3, 2025. Warnken, LLC is not responsible for any failure of a third-party delivery service or the United States Postal Service. It’s either received by 2/3/25 or you are not entered.
ONLY ONE WINNER
If the Baltimore Ravens win the Pro Football Championship game in New Orleans in February 2025 and a member of the Baltimore Ravens wins the Associated Press Most Valuable Player award for the upcoming 2024-25 NFL Football season, this Sweepstakes shall have only one winner, drawn at random per the rules of this Sweepstakes contained herein.
DISABLING EVENT – RIGHT OF CANCELLATION – “MONKEY BUSINESS”
If any third-party entity in any way disables, turns off, disqualifies, eliminates, deletes, or otherwise hampers the ability of Warnken, LLC to take entries or disseminate messaging about the Giveaway (“Platform disabling event”), all communications about the Giveaway shall be posted on www.warnkenlaw.com/news.
In the event of such a Platform disabling event, Warnken, LLC reserves the right to use good faith efforts to award winners.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend this Sweepstakes should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Sponsor will select the winner(s) from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives.
If this Sweepstakes is found in any way to violate any federal, state, or local laws, the Sweepstakes shall be null and void.
WINNERS SELECTION
All entrants via method of entry or alternative method of entry shall be entered into database or Excel spreadsheet.
An independent third-party not affiliated with Warnken, LLC shall select the winner from the list of subscribers at random.
These drawings shall either be live or recorded and, whether live or recorded, shall be published online at the following locations: @warnkenlaw Instagram account, www.warnkenlaw.com/news, and other Warnken, LLC social media accounts as applicable. Winner shall have seventy-two (72) hours to respond to an email and/or phone call, or email.
If any winner does not respond within seventy-two (72) hours of first notification attempt, if any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if any winner rejects his/her prize or in the event of noncompliance with these Sweepstakes rules and requirements, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.
Winner shall also be required as quickly as reasonably practicable (and in any event within 72 hours of notification) to sign an affidavit of eligibility.
Winnings are not paid out for 60 days post Sweepstakes winner selection.
The Participant hereby acknowledges that this Sweepstakes contest has been insured. The Participants further acknowledge and agree that if a dispute arises between Sponsor and the insuring party(ies) regarding the underlying result or winnings, then payment to the Winning Participant shall be delayed pending final resolution of such dispute. In any event, the Winning Participant hereby agrees and acknowledges that they shall have no claim of injury or damages against either the Sponsor or the insuring party(ies) as a result of such delay.
TAXES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER
Winner(s), at his or her sole obligation, shall be obligated to pay any and all applicable taxes. Winner(s) shall be obligated to complete and fill out a W9 IRS tax form in order be eligible to claim prize.
Odds of Winning
Odds of winning are dependent upon number of entries.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY; DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
By participating, entrants and winners agree to release and hold harmless, Sponsor, NFL, the Baltimore Ravens, and any individual Baltimore Ravens player, and their respective advertising and promotion agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors (collectively, “Released Entities”), from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in Sweepstakes, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.
IN NO EVENT WILL THE RELEASED ENTITIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SERVICE AND/OR THE SWEEPSTAKES, DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM ANY WEBSITES ASSOCIATES WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE RELEASED ENTITIES’ TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR CAUSES OF ACTION EXCEED $1. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THIS SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Forum Selection Clause
Sponsor Warnken, LLC is a personal injury law firm representing injured parties. We take on insurance companies and big businesses. We do not support limitation of the right to trial by jury and do not limit such a right herein.
THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE INTERPRETATION OF ITS TERMS SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND WITHOUT REGARD TO ITS CONFLICTS OF LAWS RULES. The parties irrevocably submit and consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in or closest to Baltimore County, Maryland in the State of Maryland. The parties agree not to raise the defense of forum non conveniens.
Invalidity/Unenforceability
In the event any provision of these terms and conditions (the Agreement) shall be deemed invalid, unenforceable, no other provision shall be impacted and these Terms and Conditions (the Agreement) shall remain in force and effect. One or more invalid or unenforceable provisions do not invalidate any other provision.
Force Majeure and Acts of God or Terrorism
In the event an insufficient number of eligible entries are received and/or Sponsor is prevented from awarding prizes or continuing with the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein by any event beyond their control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health of other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal state or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select the winner in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances. Only the type and quantity of prizes described in these Official Rules will be awarded.
If anything prevents the National Football League from declaring/awarding a championship winner/champion, the Sweepstakes shall be null and void. If anything prevents the Associated Press from declaring/awarding an NFL Most Valuable Player award, the Sweepstakes shall be null and void.
